The concept
The clinic needed a better site, but its search traffic lived on the old one. So the rebuild was run as a migration, not a fresh start: new structure and design on top, the live site's exact URLs underneath.
How it ran

Crawl before touching anything
A full crawl of the live site set the baseline — every indexed page, every canonical, every broken booking link, every image without alt text.

Keep every URL
The first build had tidied pages into folders. They went back to the live site's flat paths, because a cleaner URL is not worth a lost ranking.

Migrate everything, not the highlights
All 76 blog posts and every local page came across as static pages with their own canonicals and self-hosted images, so nothing still depends on the old WordPress install.
