About
I am Daniel — a UX designer who also builds. Eight years designing the parts of a company people meet before they meet anyone who works there, from Prague, mostly remote.

How I work
Most projects start the same way: someone has something genuinely good and no way to make a stranger care in thirty seconds. Closing that gap is the whole job, and it is as much writing and structure as it is typography.
I work across two tracks. Freelance since 2018, with 30+ clients on branding, websites and digital design. Alongside that, a senior design role at Pochop Presentations in Prague — client-facing, running projects end to end, and for a while leading a small team.
I design and build with no-code and low-code tooling, and I have spent the last stretch rebuilding my own workflow so delivery is faster without the thinking getting thinner. That part matters more than the tools it runs on.
How I think
Structure first
If the argument is wrong, no amount of typography saves it. Words and order get settled before anything is drawn.
Design for how people read
People scan, guess, and decide fast. The layout should reward that instead of punishing it.
Ship, then refine
A real page in a real browser tells you more in five minutes than a week of mockups. I build early and correct against the truth.
Leave it maintainable
You should be able to hire someone else next year and have them thank me, not curse me.
