The concept
The page has to convince a stranger of two things at once: these people are warm enough for my family, and this doctor is serious enough for my injury. Everything on it is written to hold both.
How it ran
- 01
Name what was missing
The old site led with a keyword, spent its homepage on the history of chiropractic and never showed who works there. The new one starts with the people — including a second doctor the brief had left out.
- 02
Keep patient data out of scope
The appointment form asks for contact details and a free-text reason, nothing more. No medical history reaches the database, which keeps the site out of HIPAA territory by design.
- 03
Only show what can be backed
Credentials render once the doctor has confirmed the wording, and services appear once they are actually offered.
Scope
- Discovery and competitor research
- Logo refinement and brand tokens
- Homepage and appointment request flow
- Inline editing for the practice
Delivered
- Brand token system and logo set
- Homepage design and build
- Appointment request form
- Inline editing admin
Outcome
A homepage that could only belong to this practice, and one the staff can edit themselves. Flagged alongside it: the bigger lever is the review count, not the website.
