The concept
The client arrived with a design system and a copy document that had been written separately. The work was mostly reconciliation: one structure that both could live in without either being ignored.
How it ran

Start from the copy doc
The written argument came first, and the layout was shaped to it rather than the other way round.

Hold the supplied system
Working inside someone else's tokens and type is a constraint, not a problem — it keeps the result something the client can maintain.

Name the gap
Photography was the missing piece from day one, and saying so early kept it from becoming a launch-week emergency.
